Hacivat X is the X Collection's new interpretation of an earlier Nishane chypre. It keeps the structure of pineapple, bergamot and woods, adds pink pepper on top, and gives the heart to lime, jasmine and orange flower. Patchouli, cedarwood heart and Haitian vetiver form the base, so the perfume ends dry and lean.

Pink pepper on the fruit
Pineapple and bergamot are joined by pink pepper, whose light, dry spice cuts across the juice of the fruit. The opening is sparkling and slightly peppery, with the citrus doing most of the lifting. It is a quick, bright start, not a sweet one.

Lime, jasmine, orange flower
At the heart, lime gives a sharp, zesty green edge, jasmine a warm floral body and orange flower a soft, honeyed sweetness. It is a bright, white-floral middle with a citrus bite, and it carries the freshness of the pineapple a little further down.

Patchouli, cedar, vetiver
Patchouli brings earthy depth, the cedarwood heart a clean woody backbone, and Haitian vetiver a dry, smoky-green root note. This base is lean and woody and gives the chypre its structure, with no sweet or creamy layer on top of it.

Hacivat X is a daytime extrait. The lime and pink pepper keep it lively in warm weather, while the vetiver and patchouli give it enough body for the evening. Two sprays on the chest and one on each wrist are usually enough.

Nishane is an Istanbul house founded in 2012 by Mert Güzel and Murat Katran. Almost every perfume is an Extrait de Parfum in a square glass flacon with a gold cap, and the label carries a city name. The stories draw on Rumi's poetry, Turkish shadow theatre and an Anatolian folk song.

Very good quality profume, it last long and it has a good price for its incredible aroma and mixes of fruit and wood smell
A cozy, slightly sensual vanilla that feels like warm night air by the sea. Easy to love if you enjoy gourmand perfumes with a soft smoky edge.
This perfume is really well blended, I just removed a star because I personnaly don't like the top note (citronella)
