Kama takes its name from the Sanskrit word for desire and from Kamadeva, the Hindu god of love, whose bow and arrow serve as its emblem. The composition plays sweetness against smoke: blackberry and cotton candy meet birch tar and leather, with violet and orris easing the contrast before a base of moss, cashmere wool and musk.

Berries and tar
The top pairs blackberries with birch tar, so the first impression is sweet fruit with a dark, smoky edge. Violet and orris add a cool, powdery softness that sits between the two and keeps the contrast from feeling harsh.

Sugar and leather
Further in, cotton candy brings airy, spun sugar, while leather and cypriol add a dry, slightly earthy darkness and dry amber warms the whole. Sweet and dark stay side by side instead of blending away, and that gives the scent its tension.

Moss and wool
Underneath sit moss, cashmere wool and musk. Moss gives a damp, green-earthy tone, cashmere wool a soft, enveloping comfort, and musk a clean, warm skin feel. By the end the scent is quieter than at the start, softer and closer.

Kama is dense, with a strong contrast between sweet and smoky, so start with one or two sprays on the chest or wrists. It fits cooler months and evenings best. Give it a few minutes on the skin: the sweetness comes first, and the leather and moss need time to show themselves.

Kama speaks to people who like unusual pairings and do not mind a perfume with some edge: fruit and sugar next to leather and tar. It suits someone for whom scent is a statement of taste, at dinner, at an opening or on a night in the city. If you want something plain and sunny, this is not the one.

Very good quality profume, it last long and it has a good price for its incredible aroma and mixes of fruit and wood smell
A cozy, slightly sensual vanilla that feels like warm night air by the sea. Easy to love if you enjoy gourmand perfumes with a soft smoky edge.
This perfume is really well blended, I just removed a star because I personnaly don't like the top note (citronella)
