Maison Margiela
Replica By the Fireplace
Wood smoke, roasted chestnut and warm vanilla
Note
Neroli is the fresh, green-floral note taken from the blossoms of the bitter orange tree. It sits between citrus and white flowers: bright and slightly bitter at first, then softly floral with a honeyed edge. It lifts a composition and links its opening to the heart. These perfumes list neroli or orange blossom in their notes.

Neroli comes from the blossoms of the bitter orange tree. Steam distillation of the flowers gives neroli oil, while solvent extraction gives the deeper, sweeter orange flower absolute. The same tree supplies a third material, petit grain, distilled from leaves and twigs. A pyramid may say neroli, orange blossom or orange flower. They overlap without being identical: neroli is the fresher, greener, slightly bitter one, and some houses name an origin, such as Tunisian neroli.
Neroli sits at the seam between top and heart. It has the sparkle of citrus, but its character is floral: clean, a little green, faintly honeyed, bitter at the edge. It is lighter than orange blossom absolute and far less heady than jasmine or tuberose. In a composition it softens citrus, gives white musk a floral face and links bergamot to jasmine, rose or iris. Cologne structures have long relied on this role.
The position of the word tells you its job. Neroli in the top is an airy, bitter-bright start. Either word in the heart gives a white-floral body that is easy to wear. With aldehydes and white musk it reads clean, with ginger, cardamom or nutmeg it turns dry and spicy, and above woods and vetiver it adds a thin floral light. Look for orange blossom if you like it sweeter and creamier, and for neroli if you want it fresher and greener.
Neroli perfumes
Both come from the blossoms of the bitter orange tree. Neroli is the steam-distilled oil: fresh, green and slightly bitter. Orange blossom usually points to the sweeter, warmer, more honeyed extract. Pyramids use both words, sometimes together.
Mostly fresh: bright, green and a little bitter, with a floral softness. The sweetness depends on the company. With vanilla and benzoin it turns soft and warm, with citrus, musk and aldehydes it stays crisp.
Yes. Its green-floral light brightens dry materials such as vetiver, cedar, cardamom and nutmeg without making the perfume sweet, which is why it shows up in fougère, woody and spicy compositions as well as in clean ones.

Very good quality profume, it last long and it has a good price for its incredible aroma and mixes of fruit and wood smell
A cozy, slightly sensual vanilla that feels like warm night air by the sea. Easy to love if you enjoy gourmand perfumes with a soft smoky edge.
This perfume is really well blended, I just removed a star because I personnaly don't like the top note (citronella)
Placing the order was very easy. Shipping was very fast. I am completely satisfied.
Good cologne, love the citrus and ginger scent making it a playful combo while the tea base makes it a bit more mature. Great for the gym
