Pear, resin, nut
The opening is soft rather than sharp: juicy pear, the dry, balsamic smoke of frankincense and a rounded, toasted note of hazelnut. There is no sparkling citrus here. The fruit stays gentle, and the resin gives it a shadow from the first minute.

Saffron over the roses
Saffron brings a leathery, slightly metallic warmth, while rose and jasmine sambac appear as full, rich flowers rather than airy ones. Osmanthus adds an apricot-like, suede softness. The result is a floral centre with spice and some shadow in it, in line with the brand's poetic description.

Cistus, woods, vanilla
The base is warm and resinous. Cistus gives a dry, ambery, honeyed resin, sandalwood a creamy wood and akigalawood a dry, spicy-woody lift. Ambergris adds a salty glow like skin, and vanilla rounds the end into something soft and enveloping, the embrace the brand talks about.

How to wear it
Guidance does best in the cooler months and in the evening, when the resin and vanilla have room. At 25% perfume oil, two or three sprays give the whole picture. It suits dinners, the theatre and quiet occasions where a rich, warm floral fits the setting. The edges stay soft.

Guidance belongs to the house's universal perfumes, so no gender is assumed. Choose it if you like rose with some depth and enjoy saffron, resin and vanilla without wanting anything sugary. Very good quality profume, it last long and it has a good price for its incredible aroma and mixes of fruit and wood smell
A cozy, slightly sensual vanilla that feels like warm night air by the sea. Easy to love if you enjoy gourmand perfumes with a soft smoky edge.
This perfume is really well blended, I just removed a star because I personnaly don't like the top note (citronella)
