How it unfolds

First minutes
Osmanthus and black tea open the scent. The osmanthus is soft and dry with a hint of fruit, the tea adds a faintly bitter edge. It is a restrained start, closer to stepping into a warm room than to a bright splash, and the darker heart is already audible underneath.

Rum and tobacco
In the heart, tobacco and rum sit so close that they read as a single accord: dried leaf, a syrupy boozy sweetness, a faint smoulder. The brand calls it the voluptuous backdrop of its hotel salons. It is dense rather than loud, and it gives the scent its weight.

What stays
Tonka bean and vanilla soften the base with a creamy, almond-like sweetness, and leather keeps it from turning sugary. What remains on the skin is smooth, dry-sweet and slightly animal. With a base built on vanilla, tonka and leather, it fades slowly instead of all at once.

Les Eaux Primordiales is a perfume manufacture founded in 2015 near Arras in northern France by Arnaud Poulain. Its ranges carry names from science, and the perfumes, from linen-fresh musk to amber, vanilla and oud, are designed and bottled at its own estate.

Very good quality profume, it last long and it has a good price for its incredible aroma and mixes of fruit and wood smell
A cozy, slightly sensual vanilla that feels like warm night air by the sea. Easy to love if you enjoy gourmand perfumes with a soft smoky edge.
This perfume is really well blended, I just removed a star because I personnaly don't like the top note (citronella)
