Amber Aoud is Roja's oud, built on the Middle Eastern tradition of gum resins. Lemon, bergamot and lime give a short bright start, rose, jasmine, ylang ylang and fig make the heart, and oud, saffron, benzoin and ambergris carry the base. It is a Parfum in a 50 ml bottle, dense and warm from the first spray.

Citrus as a quick lift
Lemon, bergamot and lime open the scent with a brief, clean lift. They clear the way without defining it: within a few minutes the citrus gives way and the warmer, darker parts of the composition take the lead. It works like raising a lid before the resin comes into view.

Rose, ylang ylang and fig
Rose de Mai and Jasmin de Grasse make a full, rich floral heart, and ylang ylang adds a creamy, heavy sweetness. Fig brings a green, milky, slightly woody fruit. This middle part is soft and plush, the bridge between the bright opening and the dark resin underneath.

Oud, saffron and resin
In the base, oud gives a smoky, leathery depth, saffron a warm, slightly metallic spice and cinnamon a sweet heat. Benzoin brings sweet resin, sandalwood a creamy wood, and patchouli, oakmoss, orris and birch dry earth and a touch of smoke. Ambergris adds the salty note, and musk keeps it soft on skin.

A cozy, slightly sensual vanilla that feels like warm night air by the sea. Easy to love if you enjoy gourmand perfumes with a soft smoky edge.
This perfume is really well blended, I just removed a star because I personnaly don't like the top note (citronella)
