Oud Supermassive is an extrait in which oud is the subject and everything else supports it. Olibanum and supple leather wrap the wood, tobacco extends its warmth, and a bright layer of mandarin, bergamot, peach and osmanthus keeps the whole from closing in. It was co-created by Arnaud Poulain and the perfumer Julien Rasquinet.

Citrus, briefly
The opening is brief and clear. Mandarin and bergamot bring a sharp-sweet citrus top, and cardamom adds a dry, aromatic edge. These notes fade soon, and their main job is to set up the contrast with the dark base that follows.

The bright middle
Peach, osmanthus and passion fruit make a juicy, golden heart. The brand uses them as a discreet bright touch that gives the oud an almost solar lift. They stay in the background, but they keep the dark notes beneath from feeling closed.

Oud settles in
The base brings the weight. Oud forms the dark, woody centre, olibanum adds a dry, resinous glow around it, and leather gives it a supple, smooth edge. Tobacco extends the warmth into a deep trail that lingers. As an extrait it is dense and close to the skin, built to last.

Very good quality profume, it last long and it has a good price for its incredible aroma and mixes of fruit and wood smell
A cozy, slightly sensual vanilla that feels like warm night air by the sea. Easy to love if you enjoy gourmand perfumes with a soft smoky edge.
This perfume is really well blended, I just removed a star because I personnaly don't like the top note (citronella)
