Bittersweet chocolate, spice and woods
A chocolate perfume does not have to be a dessert, and Double Attack keeps its bittersweet side in front. Orange bitters, pimento and pink pepper open it, agave flower, cinnamon and geranium bridge the middle, and dark chocolate, vanilla, vetiver and Indian sandalwood close it. Christelle Laprade composed it for Mind Games.

Orange bitters, then spice
Orange bitters set the tone with a dry, zesty bitterness, and pimento oil and pink pepper bring a warm, sharp spice. It is brisk rather than sweet, and it prepares the nose for chocolate by contrast, the way a bitter note sharpens the appetite.

Agave and cinnamon
In the middle, agave flower gives a faintly sweet, plant-like smoothness, cinnamon from Madagascar adds a warm, dry spice, and geranium keeps a green, rosy line running through. The effect is spiced rather than sugary, and it carries the opening's heat down toward the chocolate.

Cacao over woods
Now the base: dark chocolate and vanilla over vetiver and Indian sandalwood. The perfumer compares the woody side of the cacao to biting into cacao nibs, and vetiver and sandalwood supply that dry, wooded bite. Bittersweet and creamy at once, it stays dense on the skin, as an extrait does.

Double Attack is made for autumn and winter evenings, when rich gourmand notes feel natural. Apply one or two sprays; the spice shows within minutes, and the chocolate settles in after. It is a good choice for dinner or a quiet night, less so for a hot, crowded room.

Very good quality profume, it last long and it has a good price for its incredible aroma and mixes of fruit and wood smell
A cozy, slightly sensual vanilla that feels like warm night air by the sea. Easy to love if you enjoy gourmand perfumes with a soft smoky edge.
This perfume is really well blended, I just removed a star because I personnaly don't like the top note (citronella)
