Lorenzo Pazzaglia: a guide to the house and its perfumes
Lorenzo Pazzaglia is an Italian artistic perfumery, founded in 2021, where every perfume is an Extrait de Parfum. This guide covers the twelve perfumes we list, from rum and vanilla to sea salt and tropical fruit.
The house behind the name is PAX by Lorenzo Pazzaglia, an Italian artistic perfumery registered in Cagli, in the Marche, and founded in 2021 according to its own pages. Lorenzo Pazzaglia grew up around the family restaurant in the hills near Cagli. The brand tells his story as that of a chef, a nose and a dreamer who started by experimenting with essential oils and turning memories into perfumes. All twelve we list are in the Lorenzo Pazzaglia collection. If the term is new to you, what niche perfume is is a good first read.
What the house stands for
The motto is "Life is a summer. Always live it to the fullest." The emblem is an owl head, in foil on every box. Each perfume has its own label colour and name on a black glass bottle with a domed black cap. The brand says Lorenzo Pazzaglia creates the fragrances himself and names no separate perfumer.
What the perfumes have in common
Every perfume is an Extrait de Parfum. The brand says the formulas carry a high percentage of pure oils, the raw materials are chosen with great rigour and each creation is handcrafted in Italy. All twelve we list come in 50 ml. The range is sorted into themed collections such as Sea, Cocktail, Vanilla, Gourmand, Cherry and Self Portrait, so the name of a collection already tells you the mood. For what the concentration name means, see our guide to perfume concentrations.
The perfumes we list
Most reviewed on Fragrantica first, as counted in early October 2026. The two newest follow, with no Fragrantica count yet.
Van Py Rhum
Barrel-aged rum wrapped in the creamy sweetness of Bourbon, Madagascar, Tahitian and Mohea vanilla, with caramel, white flowers and earthy Indonesian patchouli. The brand pictures a glass of rum by a crackling fireplace. It is the most reviewed Lorenzo Pazzaglia on Fragrantica.

Summer Hammer
Summer in a bottle for all 365 days, in the brand's words, built on a juicy mango and pina colada accord. Pineapple, coconut and white rum open it, coconut milk and white flowers form the heart, and vetiver, musk, sandalwood and Indian amber the base. The brand lists a 2024 Best New Fragrance award for it.

Black Sea
The sea before the storm, dark and salty, then calming into still, quiet waters. Bergamot, Sardinian myrtle, salt and ozone open it, orange blossom and black Cyprus salt form the heart, and seaweed, white musk, patchouli, oakmoss and ambergris the base. It belongs to the Sea collection.

Sun-gria
A warm, sunny cloud lulled by a Latin melody. Red orange, mandarin and a sprinkle of spice open it, peach, blackcurrant, raspberry and red wine make the heart, and cane sugar, vanilla and soft woods end it sweetly. The brand says it won Fragrance of the Year 2024 at the Scentxplore Awards in New York.

Sugar Kisses
A gourmand tribute to the pure shades of childhood, made as a gift to a little girl on her eighth birthday; the box carries the dedication. Fior di latte, orange zest and vanilla open it, cocoa flower, chocolate and roasted hazelnut round it out, and brown sugar, caramel, toffee and musks end it.

Van Exstasyx
Vanilla at the centre in all its complexity: seven varieties intertwine into one enveloping scent, and white flowers and caramel push the sweetness towards a vanilla dessert. Oud and tonka bean sit in the base. The brand calls it the rare art of combining similar notes with balance.

Evil Angel
Built on duality: juicy, sparkling fruit meets sharper notes in a sweet, at times liquorous melody. Rum, whiskey, coconut and cinnamon sit in the heart, over vanilla, tobacco, sandalwood and myrrh. The box and label carry the extra mark 28.09.
Sex-Sea
A summer beach party with refreshing cocktails and live music. Absinthe, mint, yuzu and pink pepper make a sparkling opening, white flowers and fig follow, and the base of seaweed, salt, ambergris and patchouli ends with a dive into the sea.
Cherry Ink
An avant-garde cherry in which cherry and black cherry twist together with an unusual ink note, deep, dark and reflective. A boozy side of rum and red wine runs from the first moment to an amber and woody finish, with damask rose and myrrh in between.
Dream Sea
A quiet marine perfume built on a portrait: a spring night, the sea and the sound of its lapping. Pepper over marine notes feels cold at first, then white flowers and vanilla warm it, over ambergris, black Cyprus salt, sandalwood and cedarwood.
Tropikalys Karma
A creamy, almost drinkable tropical fruit smoothie: coconut, papaya and pineapple open it, then yellow pitaya, mango, lychee and mulberry. The base turns soft with amber woods and musky vanilla. The brand says it won the Best Niche Perfume Award 2026 at the Art Niche Expo in Romania.
Ginfusion
The mood of a gin-and-lemon cocktail. Lemon, orange, mandarin, yuzu and pomelo open it, with peppermint as a sharp jolt, juniper and a gin accord hold the heart, softened by green tea and mate, and woods, vetiver and cardamom settle underneath. The brand calls it fresh and irreverent.
